All of our Certified employees are scheduled for 12-hour shifts. By limiting the number of hours worked in a day we are guaranteed a fresh staff twice daily. Our shift changes are staggered between 6 and 9 PM always leaving crews available to handle calls at shift change. We have also created a program with incentive for all of our employees participate in working as back up on their off hours. Our goal during the day and night shifts is to have an appropriate number of vehicles and removal personnel strategically placed at coverage points throughout the area.

When overwhelmed with an excessive number of calls at once, priority is given to removals from public places, home removals and calls where the family is present. (We have an added capability to transport up to 2 people at once for just this reason)

The dispatcher assigned to each shift is responsible for the answering and dispatching of all calls. That person is knowledgeable with our company procedures as well as the procedures of the companies that we serve. The dispatcher’s duties also include assuring each removal vehicle arrives at the dispatched location within a timely manner. Because of this we require our dispatcher to have a good sense of geographic knowledge in the area.

During the actual removal process you will always be represented in your name. We do not identify ourselves as a removal service but as funeral home personnel. On this principle we have spared no expenses in equipping our vehicles with the latest technology.1000 lbs Max Stretchers are in all vans
  • All removals are made with the utmost dignity and respect.
  • All personnel are dressed in a shirt and tie with suit coats being worn when coming in contact with family members and or freinds of the deceased.
  • All remains are shrouded in a clean sheet or placed in a non-reusable disaster pouch. We understand the importance that image makes in the funeral industry especially since we are not Coroners (As Funeral Home Personnel we believe in the clean cut image that our industry demands).
